Model D-100 L.E.D. Bathroom Door Privacy Indicator Lock
You can easily change out the 3-Volt L.E.D. and the standard CR1632 button cell battery, as all of the electronics are attached on the back of the sturdy clear acrylic message disc. 4 screw anchors are included. The secure plastic battery holder is RoHS compliant.
The 3mm L.E.D. illuminates when OCCUPIED and turns off when VACANT.

It's available with a Red, White, Blue, Orange or Yellow L.E.D. One Energizer CR1632 Battery is included.
To avoid drilling the 1-7/8" hole in door, mount the included Red Acrylic Mounting Bracket. It illuminates along with the occupied sign when the door is locked.

When drilling the 1-7/8" diameter, 1/2" deep hole on outside of door, use a 1-7/8" Wood Drilling Forstner Bit if where you're drilling on your door is solid wood. Use the 'knock' test to find where solid meets hollow. When the pitch drops you're over hollow.
Use a jigsaw instead if any part of the 1-7/8" hole will be over a hollow section of the door.
Make sure to close door so it won't move when drilling with either the Forstner Bit or the jigsaw.
To fit on doors with molding on the frame you can mount the edge of the inside section up to 1" from the Blue Door Edge Line as seen on the Mounting Instruction Sheet and use the included Universal Edge Strike.
The D-100 L.E.D. Bathroom Privacy Indicator Lock fully illuminates both the Occupied sign and the included red acrylic mounting bracket when the door is locked. The photoluminescent VACANT sign glows green in low light environments when vacant, while drawing no power from the battery. It glows brightly when exposed to UV light.

Installation tips for mounting without the Red Acrylic Mounting Bracket:
If you'd prefer not to drill the 1-7/8" hole into the door, mount the included 2" x 2" x 1/2" Red Acrylic Mounting Bracket and skip Step 3 in the above Mounting Instructions.
Red Acrylic Mounting Bracket measures: 2" x 2" x 1/2" deep.
Place the Red Acrylic Mounting Bracket between the door and the Outside Indicator Section.
We provide a longer turn-bar and screws to accommodate the 1/2" depth of bracket.
For surface-mounting ease and the ultimate visual effect we recommend using the included Red Acrylic Mounting Bracket.
